Smithbrook, LLC (“Smithbrook,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an investment adviser principally registered in the State of Oregon and is registered or exempt from registration in other jurisdictions as required. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information through our website, our client portal, and our communications with you, including telephone and text-message (SMS) communications.
For our advisory clients, this policy supplements the privacy notice we provide to our advisory clients under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which governs how we handle your nonpublic personal financial information.

- For clients: financial, account, and suitability information as described in our client privacy notice.
- Communications you exchange with us, including emails and text messages.
How we use your information

- To respond to inquiries and schedule and confirm meetings.
- To communicate with you by telephone, email, and — where you have consented — text message (SMS).
- To meet our legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you provide your mobile number and consent, we may send you text messages relating to scheduling, account servicing, document follow-ups, and our advisory relationship. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, and reply HELP for help. See our Messaging Terms for details.
We do not share or sell your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, or text-messaging consent to any third party or affiliate for marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in and consent information is never shared with third parties.
How we share information
We share personal information only as described in our client privacy notice — generally for everyday business purposes (processing transactions, servicing your accounts, responding to legal process, and complying with law) and with service providers who assist us under confidentiality obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share information with nonaffiliates for their own marketing.
How we protect your information
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable law, including encryption of sensitive data where appropriate, to protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use.
Your choices
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You also have the rights described in our client privacy notice to limit certain sharing.
